Short-Term Rental Agreements – Periwinkle Cottage

When booking, please review the rental agreement.

As an owner and manager of our properties, we are pleased to offer HomeAway as our secure, on-line booking agent. When you book through this site, you pay a small one-time service fee with benefits only HomeAway  can offer.  For my repeat guests (or any guest) who would like to avoid this fee, you can call me directly with your credit card information (MasterCard, Visa or Discover) at 877-325-1139 to process your deposit to reserve your stay on my secure site.  This one-time service fee through HomeAway is in addition to my nightly rate.

Cancellation Policy:

  • A one-time Service Fee is applied for secure, on-line bookings on this website.
  • 50% is due as a deposit when booking your stay and the balance is due 7 days prior to your arrival date.
  • Cancel more than 14 days prior to your arrival date – deposit and Service Fee* is 100% refunded.
  • Cancel less than 14 days prior to your arrival date – forfeit deposit and Service Fee.
  • Cancel less than 7 days prior to your arrival date – forfeit full payment and Service Fee.
  • The Service Fee is not part of my nightly rate.* A Service Fee does not apply if you have reserved your stay directly with me on my secure site.
  • Damage Protection:  If booking your stay through other reservation sites (Ex: HomeAway, TripAdvisor, VRBO, etc.) and a Security Deposit was not taken in order to reserve the dates of tenancy, just like any Hotel, we require a valid credit card be presented upon arrival as Managers DO NOT have access to the credit card information used to reserve the stay. The Managers will apply the cost of any damages, excessive cleaning, and theft caused by the Tenant and/or any of his/her guest(s) and any other lawful charges, if any, on this credit card. If charges are made on this credit card an itemized accounting of the charges will be presented to the Tenant within thirty (30) days of the termination of the tenancy.
